Peter Matthews is Emeritus Professor of Linguistics at Cambridge University and a Fellow of St. John's College, Cambridge. I got the Kindle edition so I can always have it on hand. This is a very helpful and economically priced reference for linguistic students. I often consult it while reading articles if I come across a term I don't know.
